Russell Pickering

Russell PickeringRussell Pickering is an actor and director with experience teaching acting and presentation skills to students throughout NZ and the US. After completing his BA in Drama at the University of Waikato, he won the Bob Hope Scholarship to study for his MFA in Acting at Meadows School of the Arts in Dallas, TX.

He has appeared in feature film, commercial television and on regional theatre stages throughout NZ and the US. Russell has worked with Speak Easy since mid 2006 specialising in effective speaking and presentation technique. He also teaches acting and solo performance at The University of Auckland’s community education department.

From 2001 – 02 he worked as assistant agent representing film, television and theatre actors at The Henderson/Hogan Agency’s New York office and has been an award winning sales-person for the Fosters Group.
