Rodney has been a fixture in Wellington theatre since arriving in New Zealand in the early 1970s. He is a co-founder of the original BATS Theatre whose varied work covered the classics to innovative and creative work. |
This laid the ground for the professional BATS theatre now celebrating its 20th year. He is still actively involved in a variety of capacities being a director of the highly successful Kapitall Kids Theatre, and Backyard Productions which provides work for professional actors, technicians and other practitioners. Television appearances include 'Freaky', 'The Beginners' Guide to Love' and 'The Killian Curse'. He's also featured in five short films, Avatar and briefly in The Lord of the Rings. He has acted in and directed a wide range of plays of different genres.
